Specializing in morale-boosting initiatives and impromptu stress-relief sessions, our Chief Fun Officer ensures that the pursuit of knowledge is accompanied by moments of lightheartedness and camaraderie.

Learning Coordinator

Alex is an educator through and through. With over a decade of experience as a music instructor developing his own curriculum he has always been committed to the success of his students and clients. Having acquired a Master’s in Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education specializing in virtual course design and the science of teaching and learning he is well equipped to bring an innovative perspective to the professional development space.

Putting theory into practice he knows how people learn and how to design effective learning experiences that empower learners to gain knowledge and achieve their professional goals. Possessing a wealth of experience in education technology and multi-media production, Alex has the design and development prowess to create highly effective education experiences that cultivate the skills, knowledge and ultimately success of professionals across sectors..

UX/UI Designer

Aartie is a UX/UI designer with a knack for bringing thoughtful, user-friendly digital experiences to life. With three years of experience across industries like retail, ed-tech, and financial services, she’s built a reputation for creating intuitive, accessible, seamless, and engaging designs. Aartie dives deep into user journeys and usability, always aiming to solve real problems and enhance the user experience.

Her toolkit includes Figma, Adobe XD, and the Adobe Creative Suite, and she’s known for using these tools to move quickly from concept to polished design. But what sets her apart is her commitment to design thinking—she’s all about understanding people’s needs and creating solutions that make their lives easier.

Aartie’s background includes a Master’s in Interaction Design and a UX Design Certificate from OCAD University, and she’s always exploring new ways to grow and improve in her field. Outside of design, she’s passionate about yoga, aromatherapy, and pet-sitting, bringing a holistic, mindful approach to everything she does.

Product Development Manager

Chenise holds a lifelong commitment to learning and development, with a passion for helping individuals and organizations achieve their goals through continuing education. With experience in various industries, including education, healthcare, technology, and media, she has had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and industries, helping them develop new skills, expand their knowledge, and achieve their goals.

She was an Undergrad Teaching Assistant with Western University in Ontario, Canada, a Writer/Editor with St. Michael's Hospital and E Clinic United Healing in her previous assignments. 

 Chenise holds a MA in English, is an Ayurvedic Practitioner and a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.

Intern

Safa is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Commerce with a major in Human Resources Management and a minor in Marketing Management at Toronto Metropolitan University. With a strong interest in organizational development and employee engagement, Safa is committed to building meaningful connections and aligning interpersonal strategies with business goals 

Safa enjoys learning how business can create positive work environments where employees feel valued and motivated. She is excited to apply what she's learned to help launch new products and support sustainable corporate growth.  

Manager Operations

Sanjay is an accomplished business strategist and digital marketing expert with a strong track record of delivering innovative solutions across various industries. With deep expertise in Business Strategy, Product Research, and Strategic Planning.

In the tech space, Sanjay is proficient in Google Analytics for data-driven decision-making, and he excels at creating dynamic Excel Dashboards to visualize key business metrics. He brings advanced technical skills to the table, including VBA Programming, and expertise in Web Development with technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. His comprehensive skill set extends to MERN Full Stack Development, allowing him to develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications.

Founder & CEO

As the Founder and CEO of Asterid Group Inc., Debashish Kundu oversees the organization’s portfolio of continuing education firms across the globe. testing etc etc

He is responsible for the management and growth of the portfolio, and is always in pursuit of the next best sector to offer world-class continuing education products.

Prior to founding Asterid Group Inc., Debashish worked in finance as a Mergers & Acquisition Lead at a private investment firm comprised of more than 80 businesses operating in 15 sectors in over 20 countries worldwide.

Debashish holds an MBA in Finance from Durham University Business School and resides in Toronto, Ontario. He is also a Mentor with Rise Asset Development, empowering business owners with access to financing.

When he’s not at the office, Debashish can be found working on his latest short story, or following one of his favourite sports teams - the Toronto Maple Leafs, German National Football Team, and Indian National Cricket Team
